Hello FIRST Global!

We are Team Gabon, a completely renovated team from the point of view of its student members. Indeed, all the former students members of the team have had their baccalaureate exam and are continuing their higher education in the field of STEM, outside the country. They support us from where they are and inspire us.

Our team is made up of students from a technical high school and a general education high school. The two establishments are located in two different cities of the country. This makes our activities a bit complex, but at the same time encourages us because we want, with our small means, to inspire many more students in our country to be interested in robotics and STEM.

Today, we now have the mission to represent our country in an exceptional way. We are therefore determined to do so. This year we are six active members, all from either scientific or technological backgrounds. Each of us is attached either to mathematics, or to the physical sciences or to biological biology, or to engineering. We are all passionate about coding, although some of us only discovered it through FIRST Global and competition preparation. Challenges we love.

For this year, we will compete with determination. For this, we are currently doing everything possible to better prepare ourselves. Despite the difficulties we encounter, our coaches encourage us and we know how to count on the support of FIRST Global. This gives us even more determination. Some of us joined the team after hearing about FIRST Global and robotics. We like the spirit of cooperation advocated by the organizers of the competition. We are convinced that through STEM and robotics, young people can build a better world.
