We are FIRST Global Team Ghana, made up of 9 girls from Aburi Girls’ Senior High School in the Eastern Region of Ghana. We are also part of our school’s Robotics club and very excited to be participating in the FIRST Global Challenge to learn a lot. Below are the bios of the team members.

Deborah- Team Captain
My name is Deborah Anang. I am 17 years old and studying General Science. I love STEM because it allows me to keep in line with this era of technology. During my leisure time, I usually watch movies or read storybooks and articles.

Nikki- Assistant Team Captain
My name is Nikibamba Manboah-Rockson. I am 18 years of age and currently offering General Science. I have a deep passion for solving problems that affect us and coming up with innovative ideas to help the world. I like music, food, movies, games, A.I. robots, and comics. I’m looking forward to seeing the ideas we come up with to empower the youth in technology.

Calista- Software programmer
My name is Calista-Anne Kunge. I am 16 years old and studying General Science. I like all kinds of art and I love to explore the world of technology and keep myself updated on the affairs of the world and how they affect me and those around me.

Keisha- Team Secretary
My name is Keisha Adjei Tawiah. I’m 17 years and offering General Arts. I’m very much into reading, writing and researching and Robotics happens to be a field that has undoubtedly piqued my interest and increased my desire to explore the world of technology. I look forward to endless discoveries and broadening my horizon.

Rhema- Social Media Personnel /Graphic Designer
My name is Rhema Akosua Acheampong. I am a 17 year old student studying Business who is ardent about Robotics. I love to build things. I love social media, graphic design, true crime documentaries, dogs, and sports. Someday, I’d love to deal in real estate and invent a gadget to tackle pollution.

Frederica- Hardware Engineer
I am Frederica Tandoh and I am a final year (3rd year) Science student and an aspiring petroleum engineer. I look forward to attending one of the best universities in the world, in terms of petroleum engineering. I love to read, sing and watch movies and also love to involve myself in anything STEM-based education.

Roselyn- Social Media Personnel
My name is Richill Roselyn Awaa Quao. I’m a 17 year old student offering General Science. I love arts, music and STEM. You would mostly find me either watching Science Fiction movies like Marvel movies, listening to music, singing or drawing during my leisure time. My favourite food is Jollof rice. Pink, black and white are colours I love.

Diana- Building engineer
My name is Diana Efua Oguraba. I’m a General Science student. I love to draw and design. I love engineering.

Brenda- Organizing Secretary
I am Kafui Brenda Am-Frank Amegavi. I am 18 years old and a General Science student. STEM and innovation are my heartbeat because they are keys I can use to make the world better.
