26 May Team Indonesia 2022 🇮🇩
TEAM R2045 INDONESIA consists of young people with a big mission to bring FIRST Robotics activities to Indonesia and lead Indonesia to the golden era of 2045, towards the centenary of Indonesian Independence.
The Rendezvous 2045, R2045 has unique stories to tell the Nation and the world about how a group of Indonesian youth are taking an initiative and promise to meet in the year of 2045 in welcoming Indonesia into its golden centenary.
First, the youth promise to carefully observe global challenges of the future as well as the way in transforming Indonesia toward industry 4.0 and how important for them to master its disruptive technologies. Secondly, the youth promise to ensure Indonesia’s rich biodiversity will still offer opportunity for the many next generations to come. R2045 promise to choose STEAM education in mastering 21st century skills and its disruptive technologies while simultaneously keeping and conserving the nature.
Conserving the nature mean we must protect our rainforests and our oceans and let them fulfill their duty as a carbon sink, as a lung to the world. Indonesia has the third-largest forest land in the world, a tropical rainforest that is a contributor of oxygen to the lungs of the world, it’s one of the world’s oxygen makers. They produce oxygen by absorbing carbon dioxide produced by motorized vehicle, and factory and other carbon footprints.
Hence the team biggest mission nowadays to spread the concern across nation and form initiatives of STEAM education in motivating and encouraging many Indonesian students, as many as possible, to dream and strive as science and technology leaders. One alternative proven way is by adopting and bringing FIRST® Robot competition program to Indonesia so it’s becoming the activity that instilling FIRST® values, that foster creativity and critical thinking amongst the youth. The time is ripe that we must think creatively not to rely only on the nature to absorb the carbon and begin investing and finding new ways of carbon-removal approaches, So that they can be viable solution at the scale needed in the coming decades.
Thank you to our supporters!
