26 May Team Kenya 2022 🇰🇪
This year, the team consists of 10 enthusiastic teenagers passionate about STEM and community change-making.
All the participants have participated in various science and engineering fairs in Kenya such as the Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) a unique initiative that gives young people from across Kenya an opportunity to demonstrate innovation and showcase their scientific talents through a National Science and Technology competition.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, the team is collaborating with other youth to engineer solutions for mitigating the adverse effects of the rising levels of heat-trapping CO2 in the atmosphere using robotics. Members of the team hope to pursue passion in climate rehabilitation and climate advocacy in the future.
FIRST Global Challenge creates an opportunity for the team to interact with other young problem solvers from all over the world, learn different cultures and gather various perspectives in solving global issues.
Team Kenya 2022 is brought together and supported by TME Education, a programme that aims to promote and popularise electronics and technology-related knowledge around the world. Team Kenya believes in protecting our earth. There is only one!
