26 May Team Malaysia 2022 🇲🇾
Team Malaysia consists of five students; Nur Alia Sofiah Binti Zainordin (16) as the Team Captain, Lidya Marlynda Binti Mahd Shah (15) as the Team Ambassador, Muhammad Ammar Akhmal Bin Abd Wa’fa (15) as the Programmer, Khayra Binti Zokree (15) as the Media Editor, and Nor Khairiah binti Omar (15) as the Documentation Leader. The national team mentors are Mr. Ridhuan Azman and Mrs. Nur Nadirah Binti Mohd Roslan.
In this year’s national selection, Roboticist Malaysia carefully selects the students based on their overall performance competing in various robotics competitions organized by Roboticist last year, which includes the International Roboticist Challenge that had a participation of over 20 countries and the Malaysia FIRST Global Challenge. The students also actively took part in many online training sessions and have shown great leadership qualities. Each student has a set of specialized skills including in robot programming using JavaScript, mechanical, robot building and designing.
Team Malaysia is excited to be participating in this year’s FIRST Global Challenge because for the past five years, Malaysia has gathered all the experiences and continuously improving the skills needed to perform well amongst other great nations from all around the world. As each year Team Malaysia has been gathering different team members, the team takes it not as a challenge, but as an opportunity to spread robotics and STEM education to as many youths as possible and that our alumni are contributing back to the community. Since Team Malaysia had performed well in the last two years of online edition, this year Team Malaysia will come back stronger and aim for the best like never before!
Thank you to our supporters!
