Team Papua New Guinea (PNG) is comprised of high school students from Lae Secondary School in Lae, Morobe Province, PNG. The members of the team are in year 11 and they are a group of energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking young people working towards achieving their dreams in the STEM field regardless of their background.

The students are all passionate about technology and hope to use their skills to change the narrative for their country. They hope to bring their spirit and passion for STEM to the competition, and to learn from diverse perspectives present. The female students of the team are also especially passionate in promoting STEM education for girls throughout PNG.
