Greetings From the Team People’s Republic of China.
Our team consists of ten enthusiastic and experienced individuals from top schools in China. We are active participants in either the FIRST Tech Challenge or FIRST Robotics Competition. In addition, some of our members who participated in the 2021 FIRST Global Challenge are excited to be back in the game once more. Although each of us had a different role in our previous teams, such as management, electrical, mechanical, and software, we all truly have a strong passion for STEM. With a clear idea that FIRST Global is not an easy challenge, Team People’s Republic of China is more than prepared to overcome the challenges in this exciting journey of innovation and exploration.
Apart from the common identity of STEM learners and robotics enthusiasts, our team members are also skillful, friendly, and optimistic individuals. Each of us has our own interests and specialized fields, and we are more than happy to learn from others’ fortes to simply offset one’s weaknesses. Members of Team China are willing to cooperate to achieve top-tier performance while taking the role of active communicators between teams. By spontaneously connecting with diverse cultures, new friends, and buddy teams, new skill sets await us during this competition. Most importantly, we hope to draw connections between global issues and STEM and inspire more STEM learners to participate in solving such issues.
In addition to enthusiastic and diversified team members, Team People’s Republic of China also has mentors and assistants with gracious professionalism, adept skills, and abundant experiences. Our mentors this year, Mr. Xuguo He and Ms. Shuang Fan, as well as four assistant mentors with past experience in FIRST Global 2017 and 2019, are active and effective in taking on the responsibility of guiding the team and positively influencing us to accomplish our common goal. With our united efforts, building on prudent navigation, we believe that we will conquer unknown challenges.
