Assemble! We are Team Philippines!

From the transformative school of Dr. Yanga’s Colleges Inc., our team is composed of five senior high school students with various skills to showcase, especially in the field of Robotics. Amidst the differences between each and every one of us, we all work toward the same objectives—committing ourselves to nurturing the environment and making the planet a better place to live in.

Our world today experiences global warming and climate change, brought about by the continuous rise of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Just like everyone across the globe, we would like to be part of the solution. We want to use the FIRST Global Challenge as a platform for exhibiting our knowledge and skills in STEM in order to solve problems faced by our planet. Coming from one Alma Mater, our institution taught us to become Magis—a Latin word which means “to be more”. With this value instilled in us, our team strives to become more and to do more, especially for the sake of our environment. We see the FIRST Global Challenge as a bridge that will connect us with other STEM enthusiasts in order to collaborate with them. Our team believes that if we share our thoughts and listen to other ideas, greater solutions will be born.
