We are Team Republic of Korea, a team united with the ultimate goal to help Korea, and further on, the world, in a time of need. We have always been concerned with the many hardships the world is facing, especially with the environment and impacts that carbon dioxide has, and have felt that something needed to be done, but we didn’t know how. We believe the FIRST Global Challenge is our chance to do our part in the world. We consist of high school students who are all interested in robotics and work together to come up with a solution for a task. Accordingly, we are all excited to compete or collaborate with different countries. The members of Team Korea are Lucia han, Spencer Kim, Xavier Bang, Jungwoo Lee, Stella Jun, Kate Park, Chris Yoon, Harin, and Taeyi Kim.

I am Lucia Han, a rising senior at Brooks School in North Andover, MA. My academic interests are math, science, and computer science. I also enjoy playing volleyball and squash. One fun fact about me is that my favorite pizza is Hawaiian. From this competition, I would like to experience various things and meet new people. I will try my best to gain good results!

I’m Spencer Kim, a rising senior attending Northview High School. My academic interests are science, math, engineering, and robotics. My non-academic interests are English, social studies, and history. One fun fact about myself is that I am good at playing Korean Traditional instruments. I will put in my best effort, try my best on everything, and be a great member of the team, supporting other members.

I am Xavier Bang. I am a rising junior and currently attending BC Collegiate in Korea. I am interested in Computer Science and Fencing. One interesting thing about me is that I was an actor in one of the famous Netflix series! We are gonna win this competition.

I’m Jungwoo Lee. I am attending Seoul International School as a rising sophomore. My interests are Math, Chemistry, Physics, Badminton, and chess. A fun fact about me is that I love Sherlock Holmes. It’s a great honor for me to be part of this team, and this year I’ll make sure to try my best so that we can have a good time and hopefully earn a prize!

I am Stella Jun. I am a rising sophomore attending St.Paul Preparatory School. My academic interests are history and math. My non-academic interests are fashion and table tennis. One interesting thing about me is that I love looking up and visiting popular places. This is something I have never attempted before. I want to do my best and be satisfied with my results so that I can smile at the end.

I am Kate Park, a sophomore at BC Collegiate. My academic interest is art, and my nonacademic interest is traveling. My empathetic listening skill is good. It is good to have such a valuable opportunity, and I will participate diligently.

Hello. I am Chris Yoon, and I am attending NLCS in 11th grade. I am interested in Astronomy, Football, and Basketball. One fun fact about me is that I used to play ice hockey. I am not very confident in the field of engineering and computer science, but I will try my best!

Hi! I am TaeYi Kim, and I am attending BCC as a 9th grader. I am interested in business and art. One interesting thing about me is that I’m allergic to peaches. Since it is my first competition, I will do my best and learn a lot from this experience.
