Hi everyone! We are FIRST Global Team St. Vincent & the Grenadines. A small island in the Eastern Caribbean seas. We are a team of two (2) mentors and five (5) students that are very excited to be a part of this awesome event that unites nations throughout the entire globe.

Our passion:

· To inspire youths to be creative innovators
· To collaborate with other nations making friends, learning from others or to help where we can
· To show our youths that anyone can impact our world positively once they put their minds to it.
· We love building and program anything that moves (Robots!)

Team Members:

Jeremy: Hey, my name’s Jeremy. I’m 17 years of age going into my second year of college this year. I’ve had 5 years’ experience with basic Physics and Information Technology during my secondary level education and I’m currently doing physics at A-levels in college.

Tia: I am seventeen year old Tia Gun-Munro from the beautiful Caribbean Island of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. My hobbies include Swimming, Travelling, Playing with animals and Learning new things. I was selected to represent my country as a part of the Robotics team because of my profound interest in modern technology and Robotics. I intend to use this opportunity to further develop my skills in Robotics and to make my teachers, my family and my friends proud. I look forward to making new friends and lasting memories on my trip.

Jair: I’m Jair Patrick, and I’m fifteen years old. I go to St. Vincent Grammar School. Sports and online video games both intrigue me. I’d like to work as an accountant in the future.

Daniela: My name is Daniela Duncan, I am 16 years old. My hobbies are singing, listening to music, reading books and I like learning new things. I was selected to be a part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines robotics team because of intense passion for technology and robotics. I look forward to using this competition as a way to develop my skills in computer programming and robotics.

Kasim: I am from the Grenadines islands. I hope to be successful and have endeavors in the mechanical engineering course. I plan to become a mechanical engineer in the field of electrical devices, vehicles and appliances. I am interested in Computer Science, specifically programming.
