Team São Tomé and Príncipe 2022 🇸🇹


The team representing São Tomé and Príncipe this year consists of 5 students, one teacher and the headmistress of the Escola Portuguesa de São Tomé e Príncipe, which is located in Campo de Milho, City of São Tomé.

The students of the 2022 team are a set of curious and creative young people. They are highly interested in robotics and STEM and expect to awake interests in the use of new technologies in other students in the country. They are all motived to participate in the challenge and consider it will be a center of development in their lives. The 5 talented students in the team are aged between 16-18.

Celma Bernardo is a 16-year-old secondary student in the Escola Portuguesa de São Tomé e Príncipe, passionated by informatics. She is the team builder, no one tightens screws like her. She is always ready to learn and test her skills.

Luís Viegas is a secondary student of Escola Portuguesa de São Tomé and Príncipe and is 16-year-old. He is the team programmer, one of the winners of the challenge, “SITESTAR “, where he programmed and built a site, he understands programming and is always excited to confront himself and improve.

Alonzo Neto is also 16-year-old. He is a very curious secondary student in the Escola Portuguesa de São Tomé e Príncipe, he has been interested in programming since he can remember, even made a course to develop his knowledge, but he doesn’t limit himself to only that, he is also very good at constructions.

Ladielson Renner, also a 16-year-old secondary student in the Escola Portuguesa de São Tomé e Príncipe is a multitasking boy, always ready for new challenges, he is the team researcher. He also understands about programming.

Carla Barreto, the oldest in the group, at age 18 already participated in the FIRST Global Challenge. She is very versatile, understanding from designing to programming. When it comes to organizing and being creative, she is there. She’s the team designer and leader.
