Sierra Leone Robotics team (AKA Sierra Robotics) is a nonprofit group that promotes STEM, Robotics and innovative education in Sierra Leone. The team was formed in 2017 and since then we’ve participated in both national and global innovative and robotics competitions.

The team is made up of ex-FIRST GLOBAL students as technical mentors and the current students are selected from government and government assisted schools. The team drive is to expand STEM and Robotics education to the less privileged and deprived children and young people in and out of schools.

The selection of students this year was done from the STEM schools clubs established by the National Commission for Children (NCC), an agency that is providing technical and logistical support to the team.
