Team Botswana is from semi-arid land producing the best diamond in the world by value, the precious stones contribute 50 percentage to the country total revenue, Gross Domestic Product (GDP). A team from a country that owns the world’s largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta and has a beautiful flora and fauna. Botswana is a top tourist’s destination. It’s diversifying its economy through agricultural activities and are escalating to a commercial scale. Botswana is experiencing initial stage of a knowledge-based economy, where fourth Industrial revolution concepts, and Robotics inclusive, are taking center stage in driving a progressive economy.

The 2023 FIRST Global Challenge team is made of boys and girls who are highly motivated to innovate solutions that would solve most of the world’s challenges. The team members originate from different demographics of the country by location. The highly esteemed team believes in collaboration to save the world. Gracious professionalism is what guides and drives them. Together with the youth of the world, they believe if given an opportunity to show their capabilities, soon world challenges will be issues of the past. The team is made of capable students who are STEM explorers by all definitions. A highly fun-loving team of critical thinkers of note. They are Albert Einsteins of their generation! They can’t wait to meet the world!
