In the vibrant country of Cabo Verde, where the enchanting melodies of Morna fill the air and the aroma of cuzcuz tantalizes the senses, a new wave of innovation is emerging. Team Cabo Verde, hailing from the picturesque city of Mindelo on the island of São Vicente, is a group of eight students from different schools who have united through a shared passion for robotics and the desire to contribute to our country’s development through technology.

Diverse Origins, United Ambitions: Our team represents a beautiful tapestry of diversity, with five boys and three girls, aged 12 to 17, each bringing their unique talents and perspectives to the table. Some might be programming and robot assembling, others might be the passion for hydrogen and agriculture and others might be simply the love for trying new things.

Despite coming from different schools, we have forged deep bonds and nurtured a remarkable team spirit that fuels our drive for success. Together, we form a tight-knit group of young teenagers with an insatiable love for technology and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. We believe that by harnessing the potential of robotics, and with open hearts and minds, we are ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, knowing that through technology, we can shape a brighter future for Cape Verde and the world.
