About Us
Allow us to introduce ourselves – we are Team Cameroon, the brilliant minds representing the country dubbed Africa in miniature! Our country sits at the fine border between West and Central Africa, with several geographical features worth noting including the Mount Cameroon, the River Sanaga, Volcanic soils, and the Adamawa Plateau. We are a country of diverse people and religions, from the Fulbes and Fulanis up north who are predominantly Muslim, the Creoles of the Littoral and the Southwest, the Grassfield people in the West and Northwest and the Tikars in the Centre, South and East. Despite our diversity, a common point of national focus is excellence. This can be seen by the various fruits borne from this blessed soil in the likes of Samuel Eto’o Fils, Francis Ngannou and Joel Embid. That is why we, Team Cameroon, have as a mission to showcase this excellence during this competition, through our grit and creativity in the world of technology.

Our Odyssey
Beyond the tech bots and coding, our team is built on strong bonds of camaraderie and inclusion. This is because we all come from a school that promotes STEM culture and has participated in this competition three times since 2017. We were chosen based on proactivity and ingenuity in the previous academic year through our activities in the Robotics club and we hope to fervently represent our nation just like our predecessors did. We equally hope to build fond memories together, meet new people of different cultures and acquire new skills going forward, given that those are the true treasures of this activity.

We would not have come this far without the support of our community, beginning with our parents, mentors, and teachers at school. We understand the huge sacrifices made for us to be here today, and we are excited to showcase our talents and make each and every one proud.
