04 Dec Team Latvia 2023 🇱🇻
Greetings from Team Latvia 2023! We are a team of enthusiasts united to solve complex tasks and build innovative robots. As a team we have the ability to discuss every idea until we have agreed upon the most optimal strategy or solution. Our greatness emanates from diverse backgrounds converging at the Centre of Creative Learning “Annas 2”, fostering an innovative ecosystem. With a passion for science, technology, crafts, and arts, we approach challenges with a multidisciplinary edge. Guided by mentor Egmonts Pavlovskis, our collaborative spirit, global outlook, and persistence shape us as ambassadors of innovation from Latvia to the world stage. We are very eager to meet you all in Singapore this fall, and we are grateful to have this unique opportunity!
Kristofers Nīmanis (18): possesses a vast knowledge base in various technology-related fields, making him a highly contributing member of the team. Over the course of the last decade, Kristofers has dedicated himself to refining his skills in electronics. In addition, he has also broadened his expertise in programming, computer science, 3D modelling and various other domains. As the new season closes in, Kristofers is eagerly looking forward to collaborating alongside his team members and finding new and innovative solutions to the world’s problems.
Roberts Trokša (15): The creation of complex constructions, as well as the presentation of projects, interest me the most from what the group has done so far, preparing for the Challenge. In our team, I am the chief mechanic’s assistant and also a programmer. My hobbies are swimming, drawing and programming.
Romans Sarkisovs (17): I like to plan and solder electronic circuits. I’m keen on investigating things that are connected to this field, especially low level programming. I think these skills are useful for my team, but at the same time I try to learn and help with other things. I am playing piano, and also different kinds of sports like tennis and judo. In my spare time I also like playing strategy games, where I need to think two steps ahead.
Teodors Builis (13): The thing that I have done so far for the Challenge and enjoyed the most is designing and thinking about robots and the game strategy. In my free time, I like to indulge in a lot of other hobbies like drawing world / country maps, So far, I have drawn a few world maps and a few Europe maps but the most recent one is of Singapore. Flying R/C planes, it’s quite a fun hobby, and I personally am really interested in the aerodynamic side of things. 3D printing, for me is a way to think of something and then make it a reality. Reading advances my verbal skills so that’s why I read almost daily. Riding my bike is a way for me to relax and do some sports.
Thank you to our supporters!
