We are a team made up of different individuals from different backgrounds who have only one similar interest in education: STEM. Our team evolved from Impact School Maseru Lesotho. by which our country Lesotho is a geographically mountainous country with extraordinary high-altitude terrain. It is also known as the “kingdom in the sky” due to its elevation and its stunning natural beauty making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our Goal

One of the main goals of our team is to design, build and program robots that will compete in the FIRST Global Challenge in Singapore and achieve success by completing tasks, scoring points, and outperforming other teams in the FGC. Another major goal of our team is to foster collaboration and teamwork among other members and of course to put our amazing country on the TECH map.

Lehana and ‘Mateboho take charge of research, diligently gathering and analyzing information related to the FIRSTGlobal Challenge. They stay updated on the latest trends, strategies, and game objectives, providing the team with valuable insights to make informed decisions. Their meticulous research skills contribute to the team’s competitive advantage.

Builders: Karabo Ntho, Thato Lekoa and Liteboho Lehoko
Karabo, Thato and Liteboho showcase their engineering prowess as Builders, turning ideas into physical prototypes or models. With their technical expertise and attention to detail, they construct and test innovative solutions, ensuring they meet the required specifications. Their problem-solving abilities play a key role in creating functional and cutting-edge inventions.

Quality Assurance: Lineo Letele
Lineo is entrusted with ensuring the team’s work meets the highest standards of quality. As Quality Assurance specialist, she conducts rigorous testing and inspections to identify any flaws or shortcomings in the team’s inventions. Her keen eye for detail and analytical mindset guarantees the team delivers impeccable and reliable solutions.

Pheello and Selimo bring their programming expertise to the team, developing software and coding required for the inventions. With their deep understanding of programming languages and software development principles, they collaborate with the team to design algorithms, user interfaces, and implement functionality.
