Team Liberia 2023 🇱🇷


Team Liberia has brilliant students who, along with their mentors, are working tirelessly and making adequate research that will enable the team to come up with an idea to build a robot that will not only serve the functions of this year’s FIRST Global Challenge but also be used as a landmark that will help solve some of the pressing issues in our country.

William C. Sirleaf served as the captain for the team that participated in the 2022 FGC in Switzerland. STEM Education has been William’s guiding light, driving him to excel. William aspires to be a programmer and he wishes to leverage his career to advance the word of technology and create a change. William’s favorite hobby is video games.

J. Milton D. Shain is an Artist, drummer, footballer, and a dancer. Milton aspires to be a Robotic Engineer and a Cyber Security Personnel. Milton loves working with his teammates and learning a new skill every time. He is looking forward to improving his knowledge in robotics and programing.

Sylvester M. Forkpa works with the technical team and has been working tirelessly on the building of the robot. Sylvester has learned so many new things while working with his colleagues. He can not wait to meet with the other teams and share all what he has learned with them and get to know them, share his experience, and learn new skills.

Chris Danful is designer and programmer. Chris loves to dance, play Basketball, Football, and Tennis. Chris’ ambition is to become a Robotic Engineer and a Programmer. He wishes to use STEM tools to develop modern technology that is going to shape Liberia.

Christopher Dashie Kumorteh’s ambition is to become a Software Engineer and a Cyber Security personnel. Christopher loves working with the team and improving his skills in robotics and programming. He loves to play Basketball.

Delvin T. Geddeh’s ambition is to become a Telecommunication Technician. He loves communication and he is hoping to improve his skill using the tools of Science and Technology.

William Teah is a technician on the team, and he helps with the building of the robot and other technical work on the robot. William wishes to become an Electrical Engineer.

Isaac B. Gadeh’s ambition is to become a Computer Engineer. He is one of the programmers on the team and he is willing to learn new things to improve his knowledge in the field of STEM.

Team Liberia has five mentors who work with the students and ensure the smooth running of the team. Three of our mentors are female and two are male. Two are Biologists and three are Engineers.
