Team Lithuania is formed from FIRST robotics team “Lituanica X”. For more than five years “Lituanica X” acts as an ambassador for robotics and STEM in Lithuania. The team wants to be an ambassador of technology-passioned girls as well. Therefore, this year Team Lithuania is dominated by girls. We hope that their example will encourage many girls to form their own robotics teams or join other engineering type activities. We enthusiastically believe that FIRST Global Challenge and other FIRST competitions are not only about robots. In fact, it is all much more than robots. First of all it is about making the world a better place, starting from our team and then spreading the change throughout schools, communities and countries. We believe that each team member fortified with knowledge and experience from robotics and outreach activities will help the world to face challenges that lay ahead.
