We are FIRST Global Team Republic of Moldova!
We are absolutely thrilled to be part of this year’s “Hydrogen Horizons” edition of the FIRST Global Challenge. Representing our beloved Moldova, we are prepared to contribute to a future that is more sustainable and equitable for all. Moldova, our grape-shaped country in Eastern Europe, neighbors Romania to the west and Ukraine to the east. Though small in size, Moldova is known for its big heart and warm hospitality. We’re tremendously honored to represent our charming homeland on an international platform as prestigious as the FIRST Global Challenge.
Our dynamic team consists of 10 members: seven dedicated students and three inspirational mentors. What sets us apart is our deep friendship and mutual support, fostering a strong sense of unity among us. Together, we share a common goal: to explore and create innovative solutions that positively impact people’s lives. And it doesn’t stop with us; our team extends beyond these ten individuals to encompass our devoted alumni, supportive families, great friends, and dedicated sponsors. Our journey with robotics started years ago, forever changing our perspective of the world. We began with the FIRST Lego League and SumoBot Challenges, and some of us even represented Moldova at the 2022 FIRST Global Challenge in Geneva. Through this immersive experience, we’ve learned valuable skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and the courage to embrace challenges without ever giving up. Above all, we’ve come to understand that great inventions are born from hard work, boundless creativity, and the power of cooperation. We are immensely grateful for the incredible platform and opportunities that FIRST Global provides, which have been pivotal in nurturing our passion for innovation. Today, we stand with immense pride, representing our beautiful country, Moldova, and aspiring to make it proud of our achievements.
The FIRST Global Challenge is a gateway to unite with peers from all corners of the world, where together, we can tackle critical challenges, expand our knowledge, and share expertise. Our collective mission is to develop viable solutions for the world of tomorrow, striving to make it a better place for everyone.
