Team Angola – FIRST Global Robotics Competition 2025

We are Team Angola a passionate and determined group of young innovators proudly representing our country at the FIRST Global Robotics Competition 2025. Our team is made up of bright students from seven different schools, including INP (Instituto Nacional de Petróleo), Liceu do Bengo, JRC Cazenga, and Instituto Politécnico do Cuanza Sul.

Our journey began in 2025, when many of us had our first hands-on experience with robotics. Since then, our curiosity and ambition have only grown stronger. Despite being new to the field, we embraced every challenge, and our dedication led us to win first place at CANAR 2025 – Angola’s National Robotics Championship.

Representing a wider community of over 100 students who participated in the national program, we are more than a team we are a movement of young minds eager to become the next generation of engineers and technology leaders in Angola.

Our mission goes beyond building robots. We are here to innovate, to collaborate, and to inspire. We aim to bridge the gap between ideas and action, turning imagination into real-world impact. Through teamwork, creativity, and resilience, we are shaping a future where technology drives progress and opportunity.
