02 Jun Team Bangladesh 2025 🇧🇩
“In Bangladesh’s quiet ponds, the shapla (water lily) blooms—undaunted by murky waters. This simple yet powerful flower embodies our spirit as Team Bangladesh, representing resilience, renewal, and beauty rising from challenge.
This year’s FIRST Global theme, Eco Equilibrium, invites us to protect ecosystems, restore habitats, and champion biodiversity on a global platform. For Bangladesh—a country on the frontline of climate vulnerability—this mission is deeply personal. Rising sea levels, deforestation, and shrinking riverbanks threaten our environment and our future.
Born in 2017 at The Tech Academy, our team has grown from a cluster of curious learners into a force of 6 motivated students, guided by 6 alumni mentors. We are coders, engineers, gamers—driven not just by innovation, but by impact. Despite limited resources, we are crafting a robot that mirrors our national resolve: adaptable, intelligent, and rooted in purpose.
Through countless prototypes and code revisions, we are learning more than mechanics; we are discovering cooperation, shared leadership, and the power of giving back—mentoring younger peers and inspiring others to reach for STEM.
As we arrive at the Eco Equilibrium arena in Panama City this October, we bring more than ambition. We carry a message: like the shapla, small efforts can bloom into profound change. We are building more than a robot—we are building hope, restoring balance, and blooming for a better world.”
