Team Brunei Darussalam is proudly represented this year by five passionate students from four different schools, guided by mentors pursuing Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB). Together, they aim to showcase not only their technical skills in robotics, coding, and engineering, but also the values of unity, resilience, and sustainability that define Brunei.

Dhiya brings leadership, communication, and coding expertise, describing her teammates as puzzle pieces whose unique traits fit together to elevate the whole. Shakeela hopes to strengthen her independence and social skills while contributing creative, out-of-the-box ideas to make Brunei internationally recognized. Azizan finds confidence through robotics, embracing the challenge of competing internationally while emphasizing that innovation must progress hand in hand with environmental protection. Zikry thrives under pressure and sees Team Brunei as a family where individual strengths amplify each other; to him, this year’s theme, Eco-Equilibrium, is a reminder to balance technological progress with sustainability for future generations. Meanwhile, Amer is eager to gain hands-on technical experience, believing the competition strengthens his ability to support the team while showcasing Brunei’s green, close-knit, and peaceful identity rooted in Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) values.

For Team Brunei, the theme Eco-Equilibrium resonates deeply with their nation’s identity as a small yet resource-rich country with abundant biodiversity. They believe robotics can drive creative solutions where technology and sustainability coexist in harmony — a vision they hope to proudly share with the world this year in Panama.
