Representing Czechia at the FIRST Global Challenge, our team from the International School of Prague embodies resilience and a deep commitment to embracing diverse perspectives. We believe that the strongest solutions arise from collaboration, by listening to each team member’s ideas and weaving them together, we create innovative approaches that surpass any single viewpoint. This collective mindset drives our success and enriches our problem-solving process.

Our passion for STEM extends far beyond the competition arena. We actively promote STEM awareness and excitement within our local Prague community by writing children’s books about science and technology, demonstrating our robot at events, and sharing our journey through talks at TEDx and other forums. These outreach efforts aim to inspire young people, showing them that STEM is not only accessible but also fun, creative, and full of possibilities.

A vital part of our experience is connecting with other FIRST teams worldwide to exchange ideas and build friendships. At the Prague Maker Faire, we collaborated with six other teams, sharing strategies and fostering the global spirit that FIRST represents. Each member brings unique skills from diverse backgrounds and competitions, such as the FTC robotics tournament in Italy and FIRST Slovakia in Košice. Together, we support one another, continually learning and growing as we work toward a more sustainable and innovative future alongside teams from over 190 nations.
