Team Eritrea proudly returns to the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge with renewed energy and a deep sense of purpose. Representing Eritrea is both an honor and a responsibility that fuels our commitment to innovation, teamwork, and global collaboration. Our team is composed of Eritrean youth based in Canada, each bringing unique talents and perspectives shaped by their cultural identity, academic interests, and passion for engineering and sustainability.

After our milestone victory in the 2023 challenge, we’ve continued to grow not only as STEM learners but also as problem-solvers and leaders. This year’s theme, Eco-Equilibrium, resonates with our values. We are excited to explore sustainable solutions to real-world challenges especially those that impact communities like ours. Robotics, for us, is more than competition; it is a platform to inspire, to innovate, and to make lasting change.

Our journey is fueled by creativity, resilience, and the dream of seeing more young people from underrepresented backgrounds participate in global conversations about technology and the environment. We believe the change we want to see starts with us and we are ready to build it, code it, and share it with the world.
