Hi!
This is Team Gabon.
This year, our team is composed primarily of young students from the PROCCL Scientific and Technological High School. We’re located in Owendo, a suburb of Libreville, the country’s capital. Two students on the team are from Libreville. They’re here despite the club’s distance from their homes, as they’re highly motivated by robotics and STEM, like the rest of the team.
This year’s innovation is the enrollment of several students from the PROCCL Institute of Health and Polytechnic, most of whom are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences, and others in Naval Mechanical Engineering. This addition allows the team to also work on other projects. Currently, we are preparing to represent our country in Panama City for the FIRST Global 2025 competition. We are very honored by this prospect and very excited to meet young people from other countries, to both compete with each other, but above all to complement each other in building a better world!
