We are the 2025 First Global Challenge Team Hong Kong! Our team is composed of 7 passionate high school students and 4 dedicated coaches from Hong Kong, and we are all united by the interest and love for Robotics and seeking further knowledge in STEM. We are looking forward to collaborating with teams from every corner of the world and completing the challenges as an alliance.
Our team has participated in various worldwide robotics competitions such as: First Lego League and the World Robot Olympiad. This is our first time entering the FGC’s world stage, we believe this is both a challenge and an opportunity, we hope to use this great chance to enhance and nurture our STEM skills and enhance our team collaboration.
Our team’s motto: “Every child is good at something” stimulates a harmonious and a cohesive working environment. By mutual learning, we aim to not only improve our robotics skills but also teamwork in general, becoming not only a team collaborating, but a group of friends outside robotics.
This year, under the FGC theme Eco Equilibrium, we will strive to develop a creative but practical solution for this year’s game and an effective methodology to score points for our alliances. We pledge to push the boundaries of our imagination and technical abilities, and we look forward to sharing our ideas and mechanisms with the global First community. We hope to make friends across continents united by STEM, and foster idea exchange and sharings.
Our participation in this competition is not solely for the victory; it is for personal growth, teamwork, and enjoyment of learning in the fun world of robotics. We hope to learn valuable lessons from not only the days during the competition, but the process and journey we took to prepare for FGC. We wish to enjoy the event and develop precious memories with our team and other fellow participants, forming friendships and learning experiences that will extend beyond the competition itself. We hope to see students from all around the world in Panama City this year for FGC 2025!
