We are Team Jamaica 2025, inspired by our passion for robotics, innovation, and making a significant impact in our STEM community and by extension, the World.

Our team, under the leadership of four dedicated coaches, brings together students from across Jamaica, working as one to engineer a robot for the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge, themed Eco Equilibrium. In everything we do, we remain committed to the purpose of inspiring leadership and innovation in our youths by empowering them through education in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

Team Jamaica possesses both technical and non-technical skills and we take every opportunity to collaborate within our team and across borders to ensure our continued success.

This year, we proudly represent Jamaica for the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge, working towards a future where there is balance and harmony within our varying ecosystems. Our team is excited about this year’s theme, celebrating our diverse ecosystems, from the luscious vegetation inland to the beautiful coastal coral reefs.

These rich environments sustain the livelihood of a diverse population of flora and fauna. We are committed to striking a balance between protecting these natural environments and promoting sustainable growth and as the Jamaican saying goes , “One one cocoa, full basket.” – Together, piece by piece, we will accomplish our goals and every effort counts.

Together, we will lead the next chapter of our national technological advancements and represent Jamaica’s resilience, creativity and technical prowess on a global stage.
