08 Sep Team Mali 2025 🇲🇱
Team Mali is proud to represent our nation at the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge, taking place in Panama City, Panama, from 29 October to 1 November 2025. With its rich heritage, the flowing Niger River, and unique biodiversity, Mali reflects the resilience and creativity of West Africa—where people continuously strive for harmony with nature.
Our team of five passionate students unites diverse skills in programming, design, and engineering. Guided by roles such as captain, vice captain & lead programmer, lead design engineer, and robot engineers, we come together under a shared mission that embodies Eco-Equilibrium: innovation in balance with environmental stewardship.
The theme Eco-Equilibrium resonates deeply with us. In Mali, communities face challenges like desertification and climate variability while working to sustain agriculture and protect ecosystems. For us, this challenge goes beyond robotics—it represents a commitment to exploring how technology can help restore balance between people and the planet.
On the competition field, we will collaborate in global alliances to protect biodiversity, simulate habitat restoration, and strategize for ecological harmony. Off the field, through the New Technology Experience, we aim to design solutions inspired by Mali’s biodiversity—supporting native species, enhancing resilience, and safeguarding ecosystems.
Representing Mali is both an honor and a responsibility. We look forward to building friendships, exchanging knowledge, and sharing our West African perspective on eco-equilibrium—proving that innovation and environmental care can work hand in hand to create a sustainable future for all.
