We are team Netherlands! We have eleven people in our team from all over the country, and multiple FTC teams. Our main goal is to have fun during this competition, and we’ve had a good start with that. We are determined to conquer every obstacle on our path in this year’s challenge.

The theme of this year’s challenge, “Eco Equilibrium”, is very important for our team. Here in the Netherlands are loads of different species, in both plants and animals. We have however had a decline in both. The biggest cause for this change is climate change. To conquer this, cities in the Netherlands are adding more plants to the streets, making cities greener. This helps against heat, it reduces CO2 and gives more animals a place to live.

There are also many different species of birds and you can find seals on our Wadden Islands.

We are passionate to get over every obstacle we encounter, and know we can always fall back on our team for help and support. We understand why this year’s theme is important, and are going to make this year a great success.
