HANDELL FLORES – 14 YEARS OLD
My name is Handell Flores Vela, I am 14 years old, and I am proudly Nicaraguan. I
am currently in ninth grade at Colegio Pedagógico Arcoiris.
From a very young age, I have been known for being a dedicated, curious person
with a strong desire to learn constantly. This attitude has led me to develop a deep
interest in science and technology—fields in which I have found a true passion. I
love discovering how things work, solving complex problems, and finding creative
solutions, which has strengthened my logical and analytical thinking.

FERNANDA ABUD – 15 YEARS OLD
I am Nicaraguan, I consider myself a committed, ethical, and responsible young
person. I enjoy working in teams, sharing ideas, and learning from others.
This year, I participated in the Academic Debate for Student Leaders—an
experience I deeply value because it allowed me to develop essential skills such as
argumentation, effective communication, and critical thinking—skills that are vital in
any area of life.
Additionally, I have a great passion for music, dance, and Formula 1. I speak both
Spanish and English, and for the past year, I’ve been studying Robotics. What
excites me the most about this field is how programming strengthens analytical
abilities, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

ALEJANDRO MORALES – 15 YEARS OLD
My name is Alejandro José Morales Marenco. I was born, in Miami, Florida, but I
have lived most of my life in Nicaragua. I am a persevering, disciplined person,
committed to always giving my best and supporting those around me.

I’ve always felt a strong passion for the sciences, especially mathematics and
physics.

SEBASTIAN PEREIRA – 15 YEARS OLD
I’m Sebastian Pereira.
I’m passionate about programming, robotics, and discovering the language behind
video games. I love learning new things and exploring how technology works.

I speak Spanish and English, and I’m currently learning Japanese because I
believe that each language opens up a new way of seeing the world.

I truly enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I’ve been playing the
piano since I was 7 years old. I’m also adventurous—during my free time I enjoy
the ocean and especially doing outdoor activities that connect me with nature and
inspire me to think differently.
To me, finding a balance between technology and human values is essential. I am
convinced that programming, robotics, and artificial intelligence are not just tools of
the present—they are also pillars of humanity’s future. That’s why I take every
opportunity to learn and prepare myself.
