Team Niger 2025 🇳🇪


Ismael Daouda, a student at the Lycée Professionnel Issa Beri of Niamey, is a key figure in Niger’s robotics team. He also distinguishes himself as a trainer for Niger’s Robotics Club (Niger Robotics) and designer of the Gonadroid agricultural robot. Deeply passionate about robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Ismael is actively involved in Niger’s technological advancement, sharing his expertise in programming and robotics. His programming and strategic planning skills enable him not only to achieve his team’s goals, but also to envision a future where innovation is a powerful catalyst for progress in Niger and beyond.

Laouali Souley Nana Mariama is an IT management student at the Ecole Privée d’Ingénierie du Niger (EPI Niger) in Niamey. Passionate about robotics, she is actively involved in technological development through innovative projects. Selected to represent Niger at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025, she sees this opportunity as a way of harnessing the potential of Niger’s youth and contributing to a more connected and sustainable future.

Ouma Aïmane Djibo Saley is a student at the Ecole Supérieure des Communications Electroniques et de la Poste of Niamey (ESCEP). Passionate about computers from an early age, she is particularly interested in computers and innovative technologies. Her commitment led her to join Niger’s robotics team for the first global 2025 competition.

Aboubacar Lamine Baba is a young man with a passion for robotics and innovative technologies. This year, he has the great privilege of representing his country at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025 in Panama. For him, this international challenge is a unique opportunity to share, learn and collaborate with young people from all over the world on technological solutions for a better future. Curious, motivated and committed, he is ready to take up this challenge with determination and team spirit.

Ibrahim Abdou Issakou is a member of the Niger robotics team and a student at CSP/TARAT in the city of Arlit, located about 1000 km from Niamey. Passionate about programming and coding, he dreams of becoming a computer engineer to solve his country’s technological problems. Very sociable, he enjoys discussing important topics for the development of Niger. His innovative spirit and dedication inspire his peers to consider novel solutions for current challenges.
