25 Jun Team Paraguay 2025 🇵🇾
We are C.E.R.E.S. (Creating Engineered Robotics Explorations for Sustainability), the team honored to represent Paraguay at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025. We come from the National Technical College (CTN), a public institution that has been the crucible of our talent and dedication.
Our team is composed of Sebastián Zayas (Captain), Daniel Céspedes (Design), Rodrigo Martínez (Construction), Abigail Teixidó and Aramí Vera (Programming), Jelena Zayas (Project/Development Log) and Milciades Villamayor (Driver).
We are immensely proud to be the first team entirely composed of students from a public institution to represent Paraguay in this global competition, a milestone that showcases the vast potential of public education in our country.
Our excitement to participate in the FIRST Global Challenge 2025 is indescribable. This year’s theme, “Eco Equilibrium”, deeply inspires us, as we firmly believe that robotics is a powerful tool to address the world’s most pressing problems, fostering innovative and sustainable solutions to protect our planet.
We are thrilled to connect with young people from over 190 countries, share our cultures, and learn from their ingenuity. For us, the #FIRSTGlobalChallenge is more than a competition; it’s a platform to foster global collaboration, creativity, and leadership in the next generation of engineers and scientists.
We are committed to being ambassadors of the “Robotics is a Sport” motto, seeking to inspire more young people in Paraguay to dive into the fascinating world of science and technology.
We believe that every challenge overcome in the field of robotics brings us closer to a more innovative and equitable future for all.
