We are Team Seychelles, a vibrant group of students proudly representing our island nation in the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge. Coming from diverse schools across Mahé and Praslin, we are united by our shared passion for robotics, innovation, and using STEM to solve real-world problems.

With strong support from our mentors, alumni colleagues, and local educators, we have been working together to develop creative engineering solutions and improve our technical and teamwork skills.

What makes this journey especially meaningful is how it connects us to global peers while highlighting local strengths. As a small island developing state, Seychelles faces unique environmental and technological challenges. This year’s theme resonates deeply with us, as we aim to be part of the global movement driving sustainable innovation and resilient technologies for the future.

Through our participation, we hope to gain knowledge, share our culture, and inspire more youth in Seychelles to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We are excited to represent our country on the global stage and to contribute to a worldwide community of young changemakers. This experience is more than just a competition — it’s an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow as future leaders in STEM.
