In the heart of the Black Continent, from a land worn by conflict yet still pulsating with life, a young Sudanese spirit is born, carrying a dream that transcends the boundaries of competition. This spirit represents a generation that embodies an entire nation; a nation that believes knowledge is a tool for building, not destruction, and that the pen can mend what weapons have broken.

This year’s Sudanese team participating in the FIRST Global 2025 competition consists of 26 young, creative Sudanese individuals, displaced and scattered across more than six countries worldwide. Yet, as they are accustomed to the challenges of diaspora, they are united by a vision and gathered by a goal: to restore their homeland’s glory through the gates of technology and science.

They come from a land that was once green, ignited by recent events, carrying a message of hope in its folds for Sudan to rise again, more diverse and radiant. They wear the color green not just as a symbol of a land they wish to reclaim its greenery through knowledge, creativity, and willpower. Every mark in their project is an extension of a branch, and every idea is a promise of life flowing through the veins of an exhausted nation.

This team represents a new vision for Sudan; a vision that believes rebirth begins in the mind, and that robotics, equations, and microprocessors can be the foundations for broad reconstruction, built by minds before machines.

In a global competition that gathers dozens of countries from different continents, they don’t just attend; they arrive with a spirit of leadership and initiative, fueled by passion and surrounded by a great message: that Sudan, despite destruction, still nurtures sons who know the path to building.

What they present is not just a technical project, but a true story of a people who decided to dream, work, and start anew. Team Sudan – FIRST Global 2025… another step towards a new Sudan, built as we dream of it, every day.
