03 Jun Team Syrian Arab Republic 2025 🇸🇾
We are SyBots, Team Syria from Damascus, returning to the FIRST Global Challenge with hearts full of purpose. Last year taught us many lessons, but this year is different — we are not only driven by the dream of winning, but by the bonds between us, our love for our home, and the opportunity to build something that matters.
Our team is a mix of fresh talent and seasoned competitors, each bringing unique skills — from programming and mechanics to design, public speaking, and research. We challenge each other, support each other, and share a belief that innovation is most powerful when it’s built together. Among us are members who once competed abroad during years of displacement, and now, with stability returning, have come home to raise Syria’s name on the world stage.
The theme Eco-Equilibrium speaks deeply to us. Growing up amid instability, we’ve seen systems fail and dreamed of restoring balance. Every time we code a function, assemble a mechanism, or test our robot, we picture cleaner cities, safer communities, and a brighter tomorrow. For us, the robot is more than a machine — it’s a message that even small teams, in the right hands, can take on the world’s biggest challenges.
