Our team is made up of passionate students who have dedicated their time and effort to understand how STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—can bring positive change to our communities and our country. We spent weeks researching, sharing ideas, and exploring how each of us can contribute to promoting STEM awareness, especially among young people in Timor-Leste. Whether it’s through problem-solving, designing, or learning about real-world applications, we believe STEM is key to building a better future.

Coming from a school that proudly promotes STEM in its curriculum, we are honored to represent students who not only show a deep curiosity in science and technology but also carry a growing passion for robotics. Even though our skills are still developing, we are eager to learn and excited to apply our knowledge in meaningful ways. Our love for robotics and innovation drives us to dream big and take every opportunity to grow.

We are thrilled to take part in this year’s “Eco-equilibrium” themed challenge. As a nation rich in ecosystems—from forests to mountains to one of the world’s most vibrant underwater bio- diversities—we see the direct connection between STEM and the preservation of our environment. The idea of “barriers” in ecosystems resonates with us deeply, and we look forward to exploring how STEM can help remove or manage these barriers to support balance and sustainability in Timor-Leste’s natural world.
