“Best Wishes from Team Ukraine!

We are proud to represent Ukraine at the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge — a country that gave the world brilliant engineers such as Borys Paton, Serhii Koroliov, Igor Sikorsky, and many others.

Despite the challenges we face, our mission goes beyond solving global issues — we aim to embrace and promote STEM education and robotics across Ukraine and worldwide. We believe our passion for engineering and our desire to make the world a better place will guide us on this journey.

Our work focuses on creating innovative solutions that improve lives and contribute to sustainable development. By uniting our knowledge and efforts, we hope to inspire younger generations to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Each team member brings a unique story, experience, and deep passion for STEM, programming, mathematics, and robotics:

Roman (18) – My journey began with Arduino and basic electronics. Thanks to my teachers, I joined FIRST Global 2023 — an unforgettable experience! I developed skills in mechanics, CAD modeling, team building, and fundraising in just six months. After Singapore, I started blogging about SDR and robotics. I’m now looking forward to even more inspiration in Athens!

Vlad (16) – I taught myself Python at 12 and built my first bots. Early exposure to coding helped me understand algorithms deeply. At 14, I started building robots and won first place at my city’s robotics competition. I love being creative and meeting new people — and I’m ready for the next challenge!

Kira (17) – Through my time in FRC, I’ve learned mechanical engineering, CAD, strategy, and teamwork. In summer 2023, I founded and now mentor one of Ukraine’s few FRC teams. I care deeply about protecting nature and believe STEM youth can change the world. I love making friends, rainy weather, and being inspired.

Anton (18) – I’m a college student majoring in automation. I’m passionate about robotics, microcontrollers, and aircraft modeling. I also enjoy painting and gaming. I joined the team through social media to challenge myself and grow.

Yuliia (Mentor) – My journey with FIRST Global started in 2018 and has fueled my passion for robotics ever since. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and I’ve dedicated myself to making STEM accessible in Ukraine. I mentor and lead FRC teams and believe deeply in the power of youth and innovation.
