Hello, we are Team Venezuela and we will be participating in the 2025 FIRST Global Challenge in Panama. It is an amazing opportunity to be back in this incredible competition, which lets young people explore their creative abilities in STEAM and also teaches them the values of cooperation, gracious professionalism, and discipline that are essential to building a new world of innovation.
For us, this year’s challenge is important because it’s more than a game; it’s an opportunity to learn about how ecosystems work and that we need to have an equilibrium. The Río Caroni, which is one of the most vital ecosystems that we can find in our country, requires balance to thrive. Its preservation is crucial to maintaining the delicate balance of nature and ensuring the well-being of the communities that depend on .it
Many times, Venezuela is characterized by its energetic, enthusiastic, and hard-working people. This enables us to build strong relationships with other teams and turn this competition into an experience that completely changes our lives and makes us realize that we can change the world step by step with technology. This year, Team Venezuela organized the Copa Ka’i, the most important robotics competition in our country, with an attendance of more than 1000 people who believe that robotics is a sport.
Through the 300 students who participated in the Copa Ka’i, 10 students were selected for their work and effort during the competition to represent our country in this incredible event. We want our voice to be heard in every corner of the globe, and for more people to join our mission to promote robotics as a powerful tool for change. Our goal is to empower a full generation of change-makers who will drive innovation and create a better world. By sharing robotics as a key to unlocking positive change, we aim to inspire a new wave of leaders who will harness its potential to transform lives and make a lasting impact.
