Hello to our friends in the FIRST Global family!
We’re absolutely thrilled to continue our beloved country Yemen’s participation in the wonderful annual FIRST Global competition, now in its ninth edition in Panama 2025. We’re eagerly looking forward to meeting friends from different continents who are interested in robotics and the STEM methodology in education. Our goal is to exchange knowledge and contribute to serving the world and humanity.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers of this competition for bringing together young people and those passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics from all corners of the globe. They’re opening up opportunities for our students to showcase their abilities and skills in robot design, programming, and problem-solving. We are ready to participate and compete this year, and we aspire to proudly raise our country’s name and flag high on the winners’ podiums, despite the difficult and harsh circumstances our beloved Yemen is currently facing. Our country boasts an ancient history and has contributed many scientists and thinkers to the world and humanity, leaving their mark throughout history.

Our team consists of 5 students, along with a mentor, coach, media specialist, and several advisors. All students are in high school and come from different geographical areas. This doesn’t hinder their daily communication via social media. The team gathers during free time and official holidays at the Academy of Talented Students (the supervisory body for our team) to pursue their favorite hobbies in designing and programming robots and their various applications, integrating STEM fields. We salute all our friends around the world and eagerly anticipate meeting them at this global scientific event to share knowledge and insights. Despite our diverse cultures and dialects, our love for science and peace unites us.
