Experiential Robotics Platform, a New Tool to Learn Robotics (Sunday 8 October, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

The XRP (experiential Robotics Platform), developed through a collaboration between Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and DEKA Research & Development Corp., is an easy-to-build, affordable and highly programmable robotics kit that promises to increase accessibility and equity in STEM, with the goal of exciting a new generation of scientists, engineers and innovators.

How to Create Nation-wide Robotics Programs (Monday 9 October, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an international youth organization that operates the FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST LEGO League Challenge, FIRST LEGO League Explore, FIRST LEGO League Discover, and FIRST Tech Challenge competitions. This session is a discussion with FIRST leaders on how FIRST Global Teams can start nation-wide robotics programs for K-12 students worldwide.

Lunch and dinner are provided to official FIRST Global Traveling Team Members only. Meals are in the Hall 3 dining area.

Timbre Eastside+ Concessions

Food will be available for purchase at Timbre+ Eastside @ EXPO – a diverse, sustainable food park conveniently located in the Singapore EXPO complex across from Hall 5.

WiFi is available at the venue. However, because our event is highly dependent on WiFi, please refrain from using it for high-usage needs such as streaming videos. When not actively using them, please switch off your Wi-Fi and personal hotspots to benefit robot performance.
