GDOE high school students successfully compete in global robotics competition

Guam – A team of high school students from various schools just returned from successfully competing in a robotics competition in Mexico City, Mexico.

Last week they were honored during a ceremony at the GDOE headquarters.

Led by GDOE Career Pathyway Lead Dr. Leah Beth Naholowaa, the team brought home a couple of awards, including the Clara Barton award for helping hands. The team left last month for the first global competition. It’s also the first time for GDOE to participate in an international event in robotics.
