Since last June 27, 2021, a group of 12 young people that make up the Guatemala Robotics Team has highlighted their participation in the FIRST Global Challenge , a world-class competition that is under development, where until now they are positioned among the first 10 places from 175 participating countries.

The young representatives of Guatemala, who were recently sworn in, were chosen for their outstanding participation in the National Robotics Meeting “Proyecto Balam”, organized by Universidad Galileo and Grupo Intellecto, which is taking place this year virtually due to the situation that the world is going through the pandemic. It should be noted that the new normalities have been a challenge for both the organizers and the participants and the creativity and innovation of those involved has been noted.
