04 Aug Health Minister Kikilias Teleconference with the Greek National Robotics Team

The Minister of Health Vassilis Kikilias held a teleconference today with the Greek National Robotics Team, which is participating in the FIRST Global Challenge robotics olympiad, taking place through September 18 with the participation of national teams from 174 countries.

The team consists of 30 children, aged 14-18 from all over Greece, who were selected based on their knowledge of robotics, their involvement with science and their experience from participation in respective national and world competitions.

The students presented to the Minister their project, which concerns the creation of a robot that will have a number of possibilities, such as disinfecting the space, monitoring the pressure, temperature and oxygen of many patients at the same time, reminding the reception and dosing medicines as well as to inform through application the treating doctor about the course of the patients, etc.
