24 Nov Local SAHUT’s robot Adek represents Malaysia at first global challenge competition

BATU KAWAN: A group of Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Terengganu (SAHUT) students made the country proud when their robot creation, named ‘ADEK’ was selected to represent Malaysia at the FIRST Global Challenge competition in Singapore last October. Team captain Khayra Zokree said they were still proud to have represented Malaysia at the international stage and compete against other participants from over 190 countries even though they only placed 85th in the contest, adding that it was good experience for them as they were exposed to the fields of Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology (STEM).
