With the mission of spreading innovation and participation in science and technology among young people in Venezuela, Team Venezuela for the robotics world 2021 FIRST Global Challenge has worked to spread STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in Venezuela while they look to positively impact the communities while raising the name of our country.

On this occasion, the team is made up of 11 young students who have been selected to represent Venezuela in the robotics and STEM World Cup, 2021 FIRST Global Challenge with the participation of teams from more than 160 countries. Every year the competition launches a global problem in search of solutions by all the teams. The Venezuelan team has been able to participate in all face-to-face editions such as the last one held in Dubai, UAE in 2019 and twice remotely where this year’s edition ¨Discover & Recover¨ (Discover and Recover) has represented a great challenge in around four areas that have been seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which are Education, Health, Economy and Environment.
