Team Ethiopia is a group of 9 passionate people, including 5 students: Emrachel, Saron, Bilson, Kidus, Ijanof who are passionate about STEM and excited to learn about hydrogen, renewable energy, and sustainability. They are a diverse group of students from different backgrounds and experiences, but they are all united by their shared love of engineering and their desire to make a difference in the world.

This year, FIRST Global Team Ethiopia has been working hard to design, build, and test our robot. We have learned a lot about hydrogen, renewable energy, and sustainability along the way. We have also had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other teams from around the world.

Our team’s members are all role models for young people in Ethiopia. They are proof that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. They are also an inspiration to other STEM enthusiasts in Ethiopia, and they are helping to create a brighter future for the country.
Team Ethiopia is fortunate to have a team of amazing mentors and assistants who are exemplary in their professionalism, competence, and expertise. Our main mentors this year are Elias Ketema, Muluwengel Eshetu, Noah Getachew and Dagmawi Girum.
