We are Team Gabon, a team composed this year exclusively of students from various schools and universities in Libreville, the capital of the country.

This year the team took part in the National Student Fair organized by the Ministry of Higher Education. On this occasion, we presented some of our robots. At the end of this fair, several students came to register in our robot club. The team therefore includes several new members. However, despite the few difficulties we encounter, several of us have been in the team since 2020, because we are passionate about STEM. Most of the pupils and students of the team follow scientific and technological courses.

We are preparing for the competition to represent our country in Singapore. However, although very supported by the organizers of FIRST Global, our team has very little support locally, despite all the steps we are taking. But we are not giving up on that. Quite the contrary!

We hope to meet the other teams in October 2023 in Singapore, and represent our country with dignity and pride.
