Team Japan 2023 🇯🇵

We are students at Ryugasaki Daiichi High School, a public high school in a suburb of Tokyo, and we are thrilled to represent Japan at the 2023 FIRST Global Challenge. We have studied problem-solving and robotics for the past few years together. We won third place in a nationwide Robot Contest in January, following first place last year.

We’re truly excited to be a part of this amazing competition as we love robotics, game programming, and mathematics. We look forward to showcasing our teamwork and making a meaningful impact with FGC.

Sushi, Ramen, or Kimono are not all we have in Japan. In Spring, beautiful cherry blossoms touch the hearts of many people. And throughout the country, Japanese people are renowned for their deep respect for each other and their natural landscape. Furthermore, Japan is a global leader in technology and cutting-edge gadgets. Such innovations as quality automobiles, bullet trains, and clean and functional restrooms have improved the living standards of people worldwide. Japan’s many well-known brands, such as Sony, Panasonic, Nikon, Canon, and Nintendo, continue to have international influence.

The world is facing many wicked problems that are yet to be resolved. As representatives of Japan, a technological superpower, we are committed to play an important role in FGC with our unique robotics skills and distinguished ideas. On this journey, we will foster diversity and trust through working closely together with young peers from all over the world. We want to be part of creating a peaceful and sustainable future that lasts for generations to come. We look forward to seeing you soon!
