Team Maldives 2023 🇲🇻

This is Team Maldives, a group united with our interests in programming and robotics. We are students from the southernmost island of the Maldives, Seenu Atoll, also known as Addu City. We are students of Hira School, an institution committed not only to imparting quality education but also to championing sustainability. We’re all about sustainability; it’s woven into our ethos. The pinnacle of our sustainability endeavors came in the form of the esteemed 2022 Zayed Sustainability Prize. With the help of it, we embarked on an ambitious project, a sophisticated water system capable of harvesting and purifying rainwater, and reusing gray water.

While our journey into robotics might mark us as novices, our commitment knows no bounds. The FIRST Global Challenge beckons, and while victory is our aspiration, the journey itself is just as rewarding. Through collaborative problem-solving, we’re cultivating skills that transcend the realm of robotics. Proudly representing our nation, we’re driven by the desire to catalyze positive change within our community and on a global scale.

Enthusiastic and eager to learn, Team Maldives may be new to the world of robotics, but our determination knows no bounds. Our ultimate goal? Securing victory in the FIRST Global Challenge. However, our journey is as much about the experience as it is about the prize. Through problem-solving and collaboration, we’re discovering invaluable life skills that empower us. As proud representatives of our beautiful Maldives, we’re fueled by the desire to make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.
